The IFT Awards - How To Enter

Guidelines

  • The deadline for submissions is August 1st 2017
  • Entries must be completed via the webform on The IFT website and will not be accepted in any other format.
  • The awards are open to all Members and Corporate Partners of The IFT as well as external organisations and individuals who are active in the turnaround industry.
  • All entrants should complete the online submission form. Entrants must provide a narrative describing why they believe their business or individual deserves to win. Relevant financial information must be provided for all categories.
  • Entrants from previous years are invited to re-enter - please note the submission must demonstrate significant progress and change.
  • By submitting you are confirming that the information contained is correct. If information is found to be inaccurate, the submission will be withdrawn from the process.
  • By submitting for an award you are agreeing to allow the information included in the submission to be shared with assessors and judges.
  • All information will be considered ‘public’ and may be used in PR related to the Awards.
  • Decisions made by both assessors and judges are final. Only successful contributors will be contacted.

Categories

Turnaround Debt Provider of the Year

This award is for a provider of debt or mezzanine who has been actively involved in supporting a turnaround. The borrower may be approached for a reference and details should be provided.  

Private Equity Turnaround of the Year

This award is for a provider of equity who has been actively involved in supporting a turnaround. The investee may be approached for a reference and details should be provided.           

SME Turnaround of the Year

This award is for a private sector business turnaround up to £50m t/o with the focus on the business itself and it would be expected that the management teams of shortlisted businesses would attend the dinner.

SME Turnaround Professional of the Year

This award is for a private sector business turnaround up to £50m t/o with the focus on the professional  and it is aimed at individuals and boutiques.

Large Company Turnaround of the Year

This award is for a private sector business turnaround over £50m t/o with the focus on the business itself and it would be expected that the management teams of shortlisted businesses would attend the dinner.

Large Company Turnaround Professional of the Year

This award is for a private sector business turnaround over £50m t/o with the focus on the professional and it is aimed at individuals and larger firms.

Public Sector/Government/Charity/Third Sector

This award is for a non-private sector organisation with the focus on the organisation itself and it would be expected that the management teams of shortlisted organisations would attend the dinner.

Turnaround Adviser of the Year

This award is focused towards accountants and consultants (individual or firm)

Legal Adviser of the Year

This award is focused towards lawyers (individual or firm).

Rising Star

This award is for an individual below partner or senior management who has been actively and visibly involved in a turnaround or the wider turnaround community. Supporting information can be provided in place of financial information for this category.
