The IFT Awards - How To Enter

Guidelines

  • The deadline for submissions is August 31st
  • Entries must be completed via the webform on The IFT website and will not be accepted in any other format.
  • The awards are open to all Members and Corporate Partners of The IFT as well as external organisations and individuals who are active in the turnaround industry.
  • All entrants should complete the online submission form. Entrants must provide a narrative describing why they believe their business or individual deserves to win. Relevant financial information must be provided for all categories except in the case of Rising Star where relevant supporting information must be provided.
  • Multiple categories can be entered.
  • Entrants from previous years are invited to re-enter - please note the submission must demonstrate significant progress and change.
  • By submitting for an award you are agreeing to allow the information included in the submission to be shared with assessors and judges.
  • By submitting you are confirming that the information contained is correct. If information is found to be inaccurate, the submission will be withdrawn from the process.
  • Decisions made by both assessors and judges are final. Only successful contributors will be contacted.
  • All information will be considered ‘public’ and may be used in PR related to the Awards.

Turnaround Debt Provider of the Year

This award is for a provider of debt or mezzanine finance. Your submission will need to demonstrate being actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace, for example, being actively engaged in the community through membership of a relevant organisation and/or demonstrating how you support the rescue culture. You can provide specific cases or examples (anonymously if required).

SME Turnaround of the Year

This award is for one private sector business turnaround up to £50m t/o with the focus on the case itself. Please provide a detailed overview of the case and the specific elements that contributed to its success. This can include information such as; issues identified, actions taken and the outcome.

SME Turnaround Professional of the Year

This award is for an individual who has been actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace in the SME sector. Your submission will need to demonstrate being actively engaged in the community through membership of a relevant organisation and/or demonstrating how you support the rescue culture. You can provide specific cases or examples (anonymously if required).

Legal Adviser of the Year

This award is focused towards legal firms actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace; to be demonstrated through involvement in the community through membership of a relevant organisation; illustrating how you support the rescue culture; providing specific cases or examples of successful turnarounds.

Private Equity Turnaround of the Year

This award is for a provider of equity who has been actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace for e.g. actively engaged in the community through membership of a relevant organisation and/or demonstrating how you support the rescue culture. You can provide specific cases or examples (anonymously if required).

Large Company Turnaround of the Year

This award is for one private sector business turnaround with over £50m t/o with the focus on the case itself. Please provide a detailed overview of the case and the specific elements that contributed to its success. This can include information such as; issues identified, actions taken and the outcome.

Large Company Turnaround Professional of the Year

This award is for an individual who has been actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace in a Large Company Turnaround of over £50m t/o. Your submission will need to demonstrate being actively engaged in the community through membership of a relevant organisation and/or how you support the rescue culture. You can provide specific cases or examples (anonymously if required).

Turnaround Adviser of the Year

This award is focussed on advisory firms (accountants/consultants) actively involved in the Turnaround & Restructuring Marketplace. Your submission will need to demonstrate being actively engaged in the community through membership of a relevant organisation and/or how you support the rescue culture. You can provide specific cases or examples (anonymously if required).

Public & Third Sector Turnaround of the Year

A non-private sector turnaround (Government/Charity/Public Sector) with the focus on a specific turnaround case.

Rising Star

This award is for an individual below partner or senior management who has been actively and visibly involved in multiple turnarounds in recent years. Supporting information can be provided in place of financial information for this category.
