IFT Midlands Event 'Demystifying AI and Applying a new Technology Lens to Restructurings' - Tuesday 4th December 2018
We are pleased to account the upcoming Midlands Members Meeting taking place on Tuesday 4th December 2018 at our Corporate Partner JLT's Birmingham offices: JLT, 45 Church Street, Birmingham, B3 2RT.
As the speed of change in business accelerates, particularly with the advancement of technology, it is critical that businesses understand the value of their data and have the capability to capture, store and analyse it. During this session, Mike and Dan will take you through the importance of identifying; understanding; and, leveraging your data. They will introduce the technologies behind artificial intelligence, and give you an insight into how these are being applied in business across a variety of sectors and immediate actions businesses should be taking. We will also take time to consider how, in a time of crisis, data and analytics can be critical to your role.
With a longstanding passion for new technology, Mike started his career in IT, moving through a range of roles from developer to project and programme manager for a global FMCG company. Mike then chose to join EY, specialising in working with innovative companies across many sectors but with a particular focus on technology, helping them to access innovation incentives such as R&D tax credits. Building on this broad exposure to new technology and with the pace of digital disruption increasing, Mike now helps companies understand how technology such as robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and more can be applied within their business.
