Ken Scott

Ken Scott – IFT Fellow 

Ken Scott is a Chair and Non-Executive Director with deep experience in turnaround, growth leadership and governance across financial services, technology and complex stakeholder organisations.

He is currently Chair of JLC Distribution Ltd, supporting its international growth and strategic development. Until January 2026 he served as Chair of the Lending Standards Board, the independent body overseeing voluntary standards across the UK financial services sector.

Until December 2025, he spent almost a decade as Senior Independent Trustee, Investment Committee Chair and Chair of the commercial arm at St John’s Foundation, Bath.   A charitable trust with assets exceeding £120m.

Earlier he was Chief Executive of AIM-listed ILX Group plc, where he led a major turnaround and built the business into a global market leader. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles with CitiBank Financial Services, Hamptons International and HSBC.

Ken is a Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround and the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
