Muriel Barre is the Founder and Director of Nexgen Innovation Consulting and an operational turnaround and transformation specialist with more than 25 years of experience leading complex change across financial services, professional services, global organisations, and public bodies.

Muriel specialises in stabilising struggling programmes, restoring execution discipline, and improving operating performance in environments facing financial pressure, strategic reset, or delivery risk. She works alongside executive teams and turnaround professionals to diagnose systemic execution issues, strengthen governance and portfolio oversight, and embed sustainable capability to deliver critical transformation.

Recognised for her ability to bring clarity and structure to complex situations, Muriel helps organisations regain leadership confidence in delivery by improving financial transparency, strengthening programme governance, and accelerating implementation.

Recent assignments include stabilising the largest not for profit registered charity Global Change Programme supporting a £250m financial sustainability plan and improving  governance and financial oversight across global transformation portfolios at a global bank.
