Sam Payne 

I am a partner at HCR Law and Head of the Restructuring and Insolvency team for the firm.  As a member of the Institute For Turnaround (IFT) I uphold their principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, due skill and courtesy. So, if you need someone to help you turn your business situation around, I’m here to help.

I have worked on many turnaround assignments over the years and across many sectors including manufacturing, retail, leisure, sport, pharmaceutical and banking and I relish the opportunity to work with and for management boards ensuring we maintain value in the business, and make it viable for the future.

When I take on a case, I try and put myself in my clients’ shoes and understand what represents a successful outcome – then, I try and better it. I’m always available for a chat and often work around the clock to get the best results. From day to day, I work with and for corporates, lenders and accountants, from boutique firms to the Big 4.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, including cricket, football, tennis, squash, skiing and golf.
