David joined Duff and Phelps in 2009 where he is currently a Director within the advisory division with a focus on both financial and operational turnaround assignments. He has worked in the financial sector for 16 years and in 2010 was seconded to a restructuring department of an international clearing bank. Prior to joining Duff and Phelps David held the position of Finance Director in a venture capital backed Fast Track 100 Company.
David has worked on many assignments for banks, asset based lenders and key stakeholders on implementing turnaround strategies, independent business reviews, structured work-outs and raising finance. He has a broad sector experience and assignments have included the successful turnaround of a leading North West house builder and contractor, the restructure of a property group with £150m of bank debt provided by nine clearing banks and an advisory assignment for an AIM listed business with £70m of syndicated debt. David is a qualified accountant and holds the CPI qualification.
