Adam is a partner in the European Restructuring team at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett based in London.

Adam has over 20 years’ experience advising debtors, creditors, sponsors and other stakeholders in complex restructuring matters, often involving a cross-border element.

Recent non-confidential assignments include: Arcadia, Steinhoff, Virgin Atlantic, Intu, Carillion, Interserve, Getronics, Esken & ToysRUs.

Adam has contributed to several restructuring journals and spoken on related matters at national and international insolvency conferences and client seminars. He is rated in Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR and is a previous co-chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute, International Committee.

Adam qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2000. He won IFT’s inaugural Legal Adviser of the Year award in 2008.
