After a 25 year career at KPMG during whichI formed and led the TS (due diligence) service team in the Midlands, I co-founded WayPoint in 2005 with Nick Winks to focus on restoring equity value in the very different universe of turnaround of under-performing businesses.

WayPoint deliver turnarounds in most market sectors working with PE and other business owners and stakeholder banks: WayPoint’s partners are all Institute for Turnaround (IfT) members with over 40 years collective experience of transforming the performance of struggling businesses.

Recently completed turnarounds include Sure Maintenance Group (trade sale September 2015), CET Group (secondary buyout November 2018), Rainham Industrial Services (returned to strong EBITDA profits and minimal debt 2016-2020) and Cablenet (trade sale in mid 2023 following a successful 6 year turnaround). I am currently fractional CFO of a PE-backed services business.

I am a direct investor in non-turnaround opportunities and undertake focused diligence and transaction support roles on projects for PE and other investor types.
