Inaugural Meeting held for APPG for Turnaround and Business Improvement

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Turnaround and Business Improvement held its Inaugural General Meeting on 9th March 2026.

The APPG provides a forum for parliamentarians to share understanding of key drivers of corporate stress, areas of improvement and sector overviews and aims to champion financial and operational turnaround and transformation in UK companies and organisations to maximise growth and value for all stakeholders.

Gurinder Singh Josan CBE MP (Smethwick) was elected as Chair of the APPG, with Lord McNicol of West Kilbride elected as Vice-Chair, and Lord Booth of Houghton-le-Spring and Toby Perkins MP (Chesterfield and Staveley) elected as Officers.
