William has over 10 years’ experience working in crisis communications and reputation management for a range of global firms across financial services, defence, healthcare, energy and hospitality. He has led response on several complex, high-profile corporate crises and turnarounds, providing senior counsel and strategic advice on high stakes situations and reputational issues.

Passionate about ensuring businesses and individuals are prepared to face the most challenging issues, he has implemented a range of bespoke risk management and crisis preparedness protocols specifically for turnaround situations across an array of sectors.

Prior to SEC Newgate, William was a Director at a specialist crisis consultancy where he headed up a number of client projects and led response on several high profile cases with global media scrutiny, including litigation for the Baltimore Bridge collapse and a multifaceted reputational rebuild for a client who was awarded a highly controversial government contract.
